SCAS Pro Futura Scientia Fellow Professor Terje Falck-Ytter (Uppsala University &
Karolinska Institutet) has been appointed Wallenberg Academy Fellow 2019 by the Knut
and Alice Wallenberg Foundation for his project Can Autism be Diagnosed in Babies?

Terje Falck-Ytter was in residence at the Collegium in the academic year 2018-19.

Former SCAS Fellow Kirsti Simonsuuri (born in 1945), Helsinki, sadly passed away on
29 June 2019. She was Professor of Literature, poet and writer.

Kirsti Simonsuuri was in residence at the Collegium in the academic year 2006-07.

The Swedish Research Council has awarded Professor Maria Ågren (Uppsala University) a Distinguished Professor Grant (Rådsprofessur) totalling SEK 50 000 000 over a period of
ten years for her project Metod- och begreppsutveckling för en praktikinriktad historia.

Maria Ågren was a Fellow in residence at SCAS in the spring of 2016.
